Current Need



The Manager, Sales Compensation leads U.S. Pharma Field Sales sales compensation and is responsible for developing and managing the processes, systems and people necessary to provide a reliable and accurate sales compensation capability.



Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage sales compensation administration process

2. Analyze sales compensation plan effectiveness

3. Lead team of 1-2 sales compensation analysts

4. Manage sales compensation system

5. Lead the Sales Compensation Council

6. Lead or participate in the annual sales compensation plan design process

Additional Knowledge & Skills



Education/Training:

- 4+ years of sales compensation, accounting, finance or similar analytical experience

- 4-year degree in accounting, finance or similar analytical field

- Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred



Business Experience:

- Process management and process improvement experience preferred

- Experience working with sales teams preferred

- Experience with sales compensation systems like Centive, Xactly, etc. preferred



Specialized Knowledge/Skills:

- Creating standard and ad-hoc reports and analyses

- Ability to own a process and an operating plan

- Ability to work collaboratively with other departments (sales, marketing, finance and HR) and with other business units

- Ability to clearly communicate complex issues and analyses to audiences ranging from sales reps to executive management

- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy ¿ must appreciate the impact this role has on sales performance and on sales force pay
