Open Position: Business Development Account Executive
Reports to: Director of Sales/Local Sales Manager
Date Available: Immediate-Full Time Staff Position

Business Development Account Executive duties:

Candidate must be self-motivated and goal-oriented.

Must be able to prospect appropriate clients for KPIX, navigate through a targeted company to find decision-makers, contribute to team effort by meeting established sales goals.

The candidate will have to evaluate and uncover clients marketing objectives and creatively problem-solve with successful marketing campaigns.

Opportunity to handle advertising agencies, based upon experience level.

The candidate should be computer-literate.

Skills / Requirements

College degree with minimum four yearsâ€™ media sales experience preferred.Â

Position requires excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to compose and deliver strong sales presentations; a proven track record of new business development skills; good organizational, prospecting, and negotiation skills.

Current California Driverâ€™s License and proof of insurance required.

Physical Demands:

Must be able to sit at desk at time for long periods of time, and operate a keyboard.

Must be able to travel and/or drive to sales/client meetings and/or presentations.

Must be able to communicate effectively.
