Blog Post: The Stride Center Mock Interviews A Success!

The Stride Center conducted Mock Interviews for their students with the help of their corporate partners. The Mock Interview event is designed to give the Stride Center students an experience where they can learn the tools of interviewing and assist them in landing their next real interview. Last week we had Mock Interviews at TekSystems(www.teksystmes.com) and at SAP(www.sap.com). Our students were interviewed by real hiring managers and recruiters in a real office setting which heightened up the stakes. We are going to conduct more Mock Interviews this week. We will have another set of interviews this Thursday at Outsource Consulting (www.osource.com) offices, and on Friday at Microsoft (www.microsoft.com), and at the end of the month with Robert Half (www.rht.com). All students take these Mock Interviews very seriously, preparing weeks before the event, building a resume, and arriving to the interviews dressed professional. Thanks to all of our partners, TekSystems, Wardrobe For Opportunity, SAP, Outsource Consulting, Microsoft, Robert Half, and all of our volunteers for making these events extremely successful and a rewarding experience for our students.
